LIBAHUNDI JÄLG

Werewolf

VIII adventure rogain 2009 II race

   24-th October 2009 Palivere

Since 2004 Aktiivikeskus organizes twice a year Libahundi jälg/The Werwolf’s trace, the 6-hours adventure rogain event .The object of the competition is to score points within the time limit by finding checkpoints located on the competition terrain. The value of the checkpoints varies, depending on the difficulty-distance from the event centre, from 2 to 5, and is equal to the decimal place of the checkpoint number. In 7-8 extreme-checkpoints the teams have to do physical exercises of adventure. Checkpoints may be visited in any order (score orienteering).

There are a total of 35-45 checkpoints with different value on the terrain. Two- to five-member teams have a challenge to score as many points as possible for visiting checkpoints during 6 hours. Extreme-checkpoints can give 7 or more points for the exercises. The referees will be in every extreme point and explain the exercise to the team.

The second race of 2009 will be held on Saturday, 24 October, in the North-Western  part of Estonia.

The race centre will be at Palivere manor at the Äämäe-Haapsalu road on the 51.7 km
